Our Story

Our story began with a passion for preserving the rich culinary heritage of Enrekang. The owner of our business was born in the region, specifically in Malua and Duri, and was inspired by the traditional recipes and ingredients that have been passed down through generations. This led to the establishment of our restaurant, which was originally named "Maduri" after the combination of these two locations.

The owner of our business has had a long-standing love for playing dominoes, which predates the establishment of our restaurant. As the business grew, the owner decided to open a new café called Cafe Domino, which provided another outlet to pursue this passion. However, the focus on preserving Enrekang's culinary heritage remained a top priority. We are committed to sourcing the highest quality ingredients from the heart of Enrekang and supporting local farmers and producers in the process. Our talented chefs use their expertise to create dishes that honor the past while celebrating the present.
